Kate was built for this profession!

She has a Master’s degree in Counseling and an incredibly well-rounded body of work in educational engagement. With experience earned at the higher education level at TCU and St. Edward’s University, Kate has not only been an Academic Coach, but has also spent time as a Freshman Advisor, Psychology Professor, and Career Counselor. She has testified before the Texas State Board of Education on behalf of specific learners. She has built curriculum for college freshmen. She founded and ran a nonprofit for middle school girls that focused on career exploration and exposure. Kate is a parent of a specific learner and is also one herself.

One of the things Kate most loves about life is finding potential all around her. She sees every student as brilliant in their own way and gets excited about any opportunity to help them find their shine. Through individualized techniques, Kate will introduce academic and executive functioning X’s and O’s in a warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment. Above all, Kate will believe in your child until they believe in themselves and beyond!
